In the far future,
After all the protests, the fighting,
All the confusion, the panic,
The ignorance, the pain, the suffering,
And weeping mothers, fathers, and grandparents,

They will use the blood spilled to paint monuments.

We will overtake Hollywood.

The Walk of Fame will be renovated 
With the endless names 
Of black boys, girls, men, women.
All ages, all shapes, all complexions.

Just to remind the world of all we endured.
Just to let America step on us one more time.
